A friend summed me up in 3 words: genuine, spunky, and caring. I try to be a person who is genuine — honest, real, not pretending to be perfect or anything that I’m not.
I’m not a super mom and wouldn’t win an award for being the best cook, school volunteer, or the “have-it-all-together” mom. I’m just a real mom discovering how to play again, love, and teach my kids everyday. I’m trying to balance my focus on my kids with being a wife, a friend, part of a loving, authentic church community, and live a real life of imperfect faith amidst the daily chaos.
